Training and Exercise Planning Workshop (TEPW)

The purpose of the TEPW, held annually, is to strategically plan for trainings and exercises that strengthens the State’s ability to prepare for, and respond to public health and related emergencies, including incidents and events. The information collected from County Health Departments and Health Care Coalitions during this workshop is compiled and integrated into Florida’s Multi-year Training and Exercise planning process.

Multi-year Training and Exercise planning process

The Florida Department of Health’s MYTEP represents FDOH’s preparedness related Bureaus, County Health Departments and Health Care Coalitions’ training and exercise goals and is updated annually. The FDOH’s MYTEP provides a framework for training and exercise priorities that aligns with Florida Division of Emergency Management’s MYTEP.
