Early Steps Policies and Procedures

On page 41 of the Early Steps Service Delivery Policy and Guidance Paper, under IFSP Implementation, it is directly stated in the following passage that early care and education settings are a focus of the supports and services provided by Early Steps when identified as part of the child's everyday life.

  • Early intervention supports and services are provided in natural environments (i.e., home, early care and education settings) and embed strategies specific to the child's skill development into natural routines and activities in which the child and family participate.
