The Martin County Health Department works cooperatively with other governmental agencies such as the Department of Education, Agency for Health Care Administration and the Department of Children and Families to ensure a safe, sanitary and well-maintained environment in the following facilities:

  • public or private schools
  • assisted living facilities
  • adult family-care homes
  • adult day care centers
  • short-term residential treatment centers
  • residential treatment facilities
  • homes for special services
  • transitional living facilities
  • crisis stabilization units
  • hospice facilities
  • prescribed pediatric extended care centers
  • intermediate care facilities for persons with developmental disabilities
  • boarding school housing
