Title V Workforce

Florida’s Title V Program workforce utilizes Public Health Detailing to establish and maintain strong service networks through state, regional, and community relationships. These Public Health Detailing activities intentionally build partnerships and support collaborations with diverse stakeholders, building better systems of care.

Our public health workforce identifies and engages in opportunities where they can provide technical assistance, essential resources, educational trainings, and disseminate public health messages. Some of their detailing activities include:

• Providing expertise on the unique needs of CYSHCN by offering evidence-based practices,
• Championing medical home development and optimizing efforts toward successful youth transitions and integrated behavioral health services, by linking state resources and activities.
• Driving the importance of family partners among stakeholders to ensure the family voice is heard.

In 2019, nearly 8.3 million CYSHCN were served by statewide Title V programs such as CMS’ Title V Program. Our program strives to provide invaluable CYSHCN population expertise, strong connections in multiple networks, and high-quality data on the service needs of all children, with special attention to CYSHCN and their families.
