Welcome to Early Steps Orientation Training Module Three: Introduction to the Individualized Family Support Plan (IFSP) Process and Form.

Module Three is intended to provide a common framework of understanding of the IFSP process by everyone who works in Early Steps. In this module, you will learn:

• the purpose and philosophical foundation of the IFSP,
• the required components of the IFSP according to Part C of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and Early Steps,
• and finally, you will learn the different phases and required timelines of the IFSP process and who is involved in this process.
