The Florida Department of Health in Brevard County offers vaccines for all ages through our three clinic sites in Titusville, Viera and Melbourne on a walk in basis Monday through Friday 8 a.m.-4 p.m.

For immunizations, please bring a government-issued photo ID and all immunizations and travel records. A parent, guardian, or individual who has power of attorney for medical consent must accompany anyone under age 18. A stepparent, grandparent, adult sibling of the minor, or an aunt or an uncle can bring a minor child in for immunizations if he or she has written consent from the parent, legal guardian, or individual with power of attorney for medical consent.  

Remember to advise the nurse of pregnancy, allergies, or any adverse reactions to medical or immunization procedures.

We offer immunizations that protect against the following vaccine-preventable diseases:

  • Diphtheria
  • Haemophilus Influenza Type B
  • Hepatitis A and B
  • Human Papillomavirus (HPV)
  • Measles
  • Meningitis
  • Mumps
  • Pertussis
  • Pneumonia
  • Polio
  • Rabies (for pre- and post-exposure)
  • Rotavirus
  • Rubella
  • Tetanus
  • Varicella (Chickenpox)

Childhood Immunizations 

Recommended childhood vaccines are provided free of charge through the vaccines for Children (VFC) Program. Vaccines are given in our clinics by Registered Nurses who have extensive immunization experience and follow the guidelines as recommended by the Florida Department of Health and the Centers for Diseases Control and Prevention.

A Florida Immunization Certificate (DH680) is required for entry into Day Care and Schools in the State of Florida. Immunizations are required to be up to date for the child’s age for entry into Day Care. Immunizations are required to be completed or in the process of completion for children entering Kindergarten. A Tdap booster is required before entering 7th grade.

Adult Immunizations 

For a fee, the Florida Department of Health in Brevard County offers travel and other adult vaccines. For information on adult or travel vaccines please call our Adult Immunization Nurse at 321-634-6337 option 2 or visit https://www.cdc.gov/travel.

Community Immunization Program 

Our Immunization staff participate in health fairs, provide in-services, and presentations to the community about immunizations to educate and to promote the use of immunizations for children, teens, young adults and adults.
