Seasonal Flu Shots

The Marion County Health Department is now offering flu vaccines to children under the Vaccines for Children (VFC) program. To qualify, your child must be 6 months thru 18 years of age AND must meet one of the following criteria: Be an American Indian / Alaskan Native, have Medicaid, be uninsured or under insured. The Marion County Health Department recommends that all children 6 months of age and older receive a yearly flu vaccine. If your child does not meet the requirements for the VFC vaccine program, please contact your child's primary care provider or other flu vaccine provider. The Marion County Health Department also encourages adults to receive their annual flu shot. we are not providing flu vaccine to the general public this year because the community has many places of convenience for you to get your shots.
