We Care Program
The Citrus County We Care program
is a network of volunteer positions who provide specialty services to low income
uninsured residents of Citrus County whose household incomes are below 200% of
the Federal Poverty Level. The program has healthcare providers who volunteer their time to see eligible patients; however, not all specialties are available. Individuals must have a referral from a primary healthcare provider or must be able to establish a need for care. An eligibility interview must be completed at the Citrus County Health Department.
