Additional Resources

  • The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has rolled out HealthCare.gov, a newly updated website aimed at helping people across the country prepare for the implementation of the Affordable Care Act - specifically the health insurance Marketplaces. Along with the website, a 24-hour call center was also announced which will assist consumers in enrolling in the Marketplace and shop for affordable health care coverage. The call center will eventually have 9,000 employees in 11 states who can answer ACA-related questions in more than 100 languages. The toll-free number is (800) 318-2596 and is available 24 hours a day. This is a resource that can be utilized by consumers across the nation, especially as October 1st, the beginning of Open Enrollment, is here.
