We have approximately 21 Mobile Home Parks/ RV Parks permitted in Seminole County. Parks are inspected at least 2 times each year to assure that water supply and sewage disposal facilities are properly maintained, garbage is being properly handled and disposed, and general sanitation of park is maintained in good order, i.e. no junk, stray animals, rodent harborage, etc. If the park has a swimming pool, that is also inspected.

Recreational Vehicle Parks must post their site rates and have the current rate schedule filed with the local health department.

Recreational Camps are also included in this program. Seasonal camps are inspected at least twice during the year. If the camp operates year round, it is inspected every quarter.

Anyone wishing to open a mobile home park or RV park must submit plans for the park through the local building department (city or county) for approval.
