TALLAHASSEE—The Florida Board of Opticianry announces the launch of an updated, redesigned website to improve communication. The new layout provides enhanced transparency and increased accessibility to web services. The website also encourages public feedback and includes valuable resources for opticians, apprentice opticians, optical establishments and consumers.
“The new website meets one of the state’s goals to improve access to information for both opticians and consumers,” said Board Chair, David Calvo. “Whether a consumer is seeking to file a complaint or an applicant is inquiring how to obtain a license, the increased transparency and access to these and more services will help streamline the process for our stakeholders.”
The Board of Opticianry’s website is the last of twenty-two health care profession websites to be redesigned. For more information, please visit www.floridasopticianry.gov or follow the Board of Opticianry on Twitter @FLOpticianry.
