Tallahassee, Fla.—Today, State Surgeon General and Secretary of Health Dr. John Armstrong announced the appointment of Mr. Malcolm “Mac” Kemp to the Emergency Medical Services Advisory Council.

Malcolm “Mac” Kemp, MS, PMD, is the deputy chief of clinical affairs for Leon County Emergency Medical Services (EMS). He brings 38 years of experience in EMS, working in both field operations and administration. He is appointed as the emergency medical services administrator (non-fire) member for a four-year term beginning Sept. 16, 2015 and ending Sept. 15, 2019.
