Tallahassee, Fla.—Today, State Surgeon General and Secretary of Health Dr. John Armstrong announced the appointment of Dr. Darlene Silvernail to the Advisory Council of Medical Physicists.
Darlene Silvernail, Ph.D., CAP, LMHC, is the executive director of the Florida Mental Health Counselors Association and a clinical supervisor for Total Recovery Now. She has owned her own consulting firm since 2001, which provides corporate coaching and clinical supervision for mental health and addictions facilities. She is appointed as a consumer member for a four-year term beginning Sept. 16, 2015 and ending Sept.15, 2019.
