Elderly Populations

  • A Toolkit for Serving Diverse Communities - Administration on Aging toolkit with methods for providing respectful, inclusive, and sensitive services for any diverse community.
  • Older Adults Preparedness Portal - CDC's web portal to help states, communities, and partners plan for and protect vulnerable older adults in all hazards emergencies. The site highlights a cross-sector preparedness guide "Identifying Vulnerable Older Adults and Legal Options for Increasing Their Protection During All-Hazards Emergencies: A Cross-Sector Guide for States and Communities." The guide identifies strategies for identifying vulnerable older adults and presents a menu of action options.
