ANNOUNCEMENT: THE FLORIDA EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES (EMS) SECTION WILL ACCEPT MATCHING GRANT APPLICATIONS BEGINNING MONDAY, OCTOBER 9, 2017 UNTIL THE DEADLINE, WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 31, 2018, 4:00 P. M. EASTERN STANDARD TIME

Application(s) may be submitted by email attachment via the following email address: EMS@flhealth.gov

Alternatively, applications may be either hand delivered (walk-in) or mailed to the addresses listed below. The Department requests you NOT send the same application by both email attachment and paper.

Special note: Section 401.111, Florida Statutes, requires the state to assist youth athletic organizations that work in conjunction with local EMS, with costs to expand the use of automated external defibrillators. We encourage grant requests to accomplish this.


County Grant Awards 2017

Effective July 31, 2017, county governments can request their annual emergency medical services (EMS) county grant funds.  Counties may view the funding available for this year in the Total column at the following link: County Grant Funds for 2017-2018

To obtain the funds, the county must submit an original and one copy of: (1) the two-page application form; (2) the Request for Grant Funding Distribution page; and (3) a resolution described in Item #4 of the application.
