FLORIDA BOARD OF PHYSICAL THERAPY PRACTICE LAUNCHES NEW, INTERACTIVE WEBSITE

TALLAHASSEE—The Florida Board of Physical Therapy Practice has launched an updated, interactive website to improve communication, enhance transparency and increase accessibility to web services. The website was redesigned to provide better customer service and encourage public feedback.

The Board of Physical Therapy Practice website features a collection of valuable resources for physical therapists, physical therapist assistants and consumers. The website also simplifies the process of applying, renewing, or verifying a license, and provides information on how to file a complaint.

"The website redesign offers a fresh and appealing new look to the Board’s site, as well as increases ease of navigation and allows users to locate and utilize our resources to their maximum potential,” said Board Chair, Clint Lohr, PT, cert MDT.

The Board of Physical Therapy Practice’s new website is one of eight health care profession websites to be redesigned. Other boards that have launched new websites include the Boards of Medicine, Nursing, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Optometry, Massage Therapy, and Occupational Therapy.
