TALLAHASSEE—The Florida Board of Orthotists and Prosthetists has launched an updated, interactive website to improve communication, enhance transparency and increase accessibility to web services. The website was redesigned to provide better customer service and encourage public feedback.
The new website features a number of valuable resources for prosthetist-orthotists, prosthetists, orthotists, pedorthists, orthotic fitters, orthotic fitter assistants and consumers. The design also helps to simplify the process of applying for, renewing, or verifying a license and provides information on how to file a complaint.
“The new website format is easy to navigate and user-friendly,” said board chair, Tommy Chmielewski, LPO, Chair of the Florida Board of Orthotists and Prosthetists.
The website is the newest of fourteen health care profession websites to be redesigned. For more information, please visit www.floridasorthotistsprosthetists.gov or follow the Board of Orthotists and Prosthetists on Twitter at @FLOrthoBoard.
