HOW TO REPORT A CASE OF TB

Under the following circumstances, you should make a report to the TB Manager:

  • TB disease is suspected based on clinical or radiological examination of the patient
  • A client is started on two or more anti-TB medications
A report of TB may be made either by telephone to (386) 274-0654 or by fax to (386) 274-0658. On receiving a report, the program manager will contact the reporting physician or facility to obtain further information regarding the suspected case.
