The Phelan-McDermid Syndrome Foundation's mission is to improve the quality of life for people affected by PMS worldwide by providing family support, accelerating research and raising awareness. Based in Florida, the foundation offers support for families who are affected by PMS both locally and internationally.
The National Organization for Rare Disorders (NORD) is a patient advocacy organization dedicated to providing information on resources and organizations serving individuals with rare conditions. NORD has dedicated a page for information related to Phelan-McDermid syndrome.
