Priorities for improving public health in Florida are addressed through a variety of plans that address collaboration with our partners as well as internal agency priorities that will help achieve a healthier Florida.

State Health Improvement Plan

The State Health Improvement Plan (SHIP) is a statewide plan for public health system partners and stakeholders to improve the health of Floridians.  Quarterly reports are collected to track progress on the goals and objectives in this plan.

Long Range Program Plan (LRPP)

The Long-Range Program Plan (LRPP) provides the framework and justification for the agency budget.  It is a goal-based plan with a five-year planning horizon and focuses on agency priorities in achieving the goals and objectives of the state.

Agency Strategic Plan 2016-2021
