Jennifer Grant Named Bureau Chief for Application Development and Support

TALLAHASSEE—The Florida Department of Health (DOH) today announced the selection of Jennifer Grant as the Bureau Chief for Application Development and Support in Information Technology (IT), effective February 1. Ms. Grant brings more than 20 years of professional IT experience to the Department, and will be responsible for maintaining and coordinating enterprise resource planning of projects to meet the needs of the agency. As Bureau Chief, she will oversee programs including: Business Support, Enterprise Application and Support, Data Administration, Health Management Systems, Medical Quality Assurance and IT Web Management.
“Jennifer brings a career of expertise in needs analysis and creative problem solving that will help the Department improve its technology base,” said Chief Information Officer Bob Dillenschneider.
Most recently, Ms. Grant served at an IT Business Consultant with the Florida Department of Financial Services. During her years as an IT specialist, she has worked with the Florida Department of State, Department of Labor, and Florida State University.
Ms. Grant has a bachelor’s degree in data processing from Florida A&M University.
