TALLAHASSEE—The Florida Board of Hearing Aid Specialists has launched an updated, interactive website to improve communication, enhance transparency and increase accessibility to web services. The website was redesigned to provide better customer service and encourage public feedback.
The Board’s website features a number of valuable resources for hearing aid specialists and consumers. The site also simplifies the process of applying for, renewing, or verifying a license, and provides information on how to file a complaint.
“Our new website is user-friendly and creates a clear path to finding important information,” said Board Chair, Leanne Polhill. “We are pleased to offer this helpful new resource to our licensees and consumers.”
The Board of Hearing Aid Specialists’ website is one of eleven health care profession websites to be redesigned. Other boards that have launched new websites include the Boards of Medicine, Nursing, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Optometry, Massage Therapy, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Athletic Training, and Acupuncture.
