FLORIDA BOARD OF SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGY AND AUDIOLOGY ANNOUNCES NEW WEBSITE LAUNCH

TALLAHASSEE—The Florida Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology has launched an updated, interactive website to improve communication. The website was created with the user experience in mind and was redesigned to deliver better customer service through enhanced transparency and increased accessibility to web services.

“We are very excited to launch the new website for the Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology professions, “ said Chairman Barbara Gaunt-Jaehne, AuD. “This new interactive format will provide quick, easy and understandable information to applicants, licensees and consumers of our health care services.”

The website provides streamlined access to the most frequently used features and also encourages public feedback. An improved layout makes it easier to locate information on applying for, renewing, or verifying a license and also provides information on how to file a complaint.

The Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology’s website is the latest of eighteen health care profession websites to be redesigned. For more information, please visit www.floridasspeechaudiology.gov or follow the Board on Twitter at @FLSpeechBoard.
