FLORIDA BOARD OF PSYCHOLOGY LAUNCHES NEW, INTERACTIVE WEBSITE

TALLAHASSEE—The Florida Board of Psychology announces the launch of an updated, interactive website aimed at improving communication through enhanced transparency and increased accessibility to web services. The new design simplifies the process of applying, renewing, or verifying a license and provides information on how to file a complaint. The website offers streamlined access to the most frequently used features, encourages public feedback, and provides valuable resources for psychologists and consumers.

“The ultimate mission of the Board of Psychology is to ensure the protection of the general public and consumers of psychological services,” said Board Chair, Luis E. Orta, Ph.D. “The layout of the new website makes it convenient to introduce alerts, important news and notifications, in order to keep the public informed.”

The Board of Psychology’s website is the latest of twenty-one health care profession websites to be redesigned. For more information, please visit www.floridaspsychology.gov or follow the Board of Psychology on Twitter @FLPsychology.
