Join us in beautiful Kissimmee, Florida on June 9, 2022 for the Florida Department of Health’s annual Chronic Disease Prevention Conference. The conference theme is Thrive Through Health: Promoting Wellness in Florida Communities Through Improving Whole Person Care with Health Policy, Access and Prevention Services. During the conference, you will hear from experts in the field, engage in facilitated discussions, and network with cross-sector partners.
The goals of this conference are to:
- Bring awareness of barriers to health access and current strategies to mitigate these barriers
- Provide information on state and local chronic disease prevention partnerships and services that can be leveraged to increase community-driven health and wellness initiatives that reduce disparities
- Increase diversity and accountability in community and clinical leadership to drive health policy into action
