The Bureau of Public Health Laboratories is currently providing training to first responders in how to collect, decontaminate and safely transport environmental samples to the LRN-B laboratory for testing. This training includes hands-on sample collection using the preferred collection methods as per the ASTM E2458-17.
This training is recommended for all first responders who may be involved in responding to environmental threat samples. Scheduling the training at your facility is an easy process. Determine when you would like to have the training and how many people will be attending. A time will be set up that is convenient for all. Please contact Darcy Ravndal at (813) 760-7410 to schedule a class for your facility.
All environmental samples submitted to a BPHL LRN-B laboratory should use the Domestic Security Environmental Sample Submission Form
