Exam Schedule

Radon Program

The Department offers at least three exams per year. The exams are given at different locations throughout Florida. After the department proposes a location and date, the department will coordinate the final schedule with the training providers in order to offer the exam at the completion of the training course. Proposed dates and locations are subject to change.  Once an exam is scheduled, it will be offered unless canceled due to lack of demand. Anyone who can not attend the exam scheduled after the completion of their training course, may either attend the next scheduled exam or schedule to take the exam in Tallahassee. The  application deadline for any exam date is two weeks prior to the exam.

To become certified Applicants must attend a Florida approved training course prior to taking the exam.  Additionally, applicants must register with the Department of Health Radon Program to take the exam.  Please contact one of our approved training providers to find out about upcoming radon courses and their fees.
