It's a New Day in Public Health.
The Florida Department of Health works to protect, promote & improve the health of all people in Florida through integrated state, county & community efforts.
More than 1.5 million veterans call Florida home, many of whom have served during war time. The Florida Department of Health believes it is important to honor and serve these veterans, members of the military and their families. The annual “Florida Veteran Health Heroes” report recognizes five exemplary Florida veterans who have served both their nation and their state in the health care field. The report also highlights the military support services the Department offers and highlights successes of these programs from the past year.Florida Veteran Health Heroes
