  • Caring for Elders During Disasters—Tools and resources to guide and support local communities in their efforts to develop and sustain a continuum of care for elders during disasters. These tools include:
  • Older Adults Preparedness Portal—CDC's web portal to help states, communities, and partners plan for and protect vulnerable older adults in all hazards emergencies. The site highlights a cross-sector preparedness guide "Identifying Vulnerable Older Adults and Legal Options for Increasing Their Protection During All-Hazards Emergencies: A Cross-Sector Guide for States and Communities." The guide identifies strategies for identifying vulnerable older adults and presents a menu of action options.
