A commemorative certificate is signed by the current Governor and the state registrar of the Florida Department of Health’s Bureau of Vital Statistics.

The certificate is suitable for framing and preserving as a family heirloom. A commemorative certificate is not acceptable for official purposes.


Ordering a Commemorative Marriage Certificate

The Bureau of Vital Statistics offers walk-in or mail-in services. To save time, download and complete the forms you need. Same day service is not available for a Commemorative Certificate.

Walk-in payments may be made in the form of cash, check, money order, Visa, and Mastercard.  We do not accept contactless payments or tap to pay.

Normal processing time is 3-5 business days for computer certificates. The Commemorative Certificate will follow in 4-6 weeks.
