Florida Health Grand Rounds
Jay McLaughlin, Ph.D., joined the College of Pharmacy as an associate professor of pharmacodynamics. Prior to joining UF, he worked at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts and the Torrey Pines Institute for Molecular Studies in Port St. Lucie, Florida. His research goal is to identify the neurobiological systems responsible for generating behavior, characterizing them and related psychological disorders using molecular, pharmacological, anatomical and behavioral methods. These findings are then focused on the development of new therapeutic interventions.
