The Florida Department of Health serves as the TrainingFinder Real-time Affiliate Integrated Network (TRAIN) affiliate.
Our staff are certified to instruct several courses at no cost to the student/agency. We are able to provide continuing educational credits for major health professional categories.
Our high quality training is based on sound instructional design principles. An annual catalog is published prioritizing training for public health preparedness and other fields of training.
The Florida public health system is a collaborative partnership among all public, private, and voluntary entities that contribute to the delivery of essential public health services within the state.

TRAIN is currently comprised of 29 affiliates, which include 25 state agencies and four federal partners – the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Medical Reserve Corps (MRC), the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), and the Veterans Health Administration (VHA).
Together, these affiliates link to the national TRAIN network and form the crux of the TRAIN Community. With over 900,000 registered learners and nearly 4,000 course providers, TRAIN is the go-to workforce development resource for health professionals.
