Declaratory statements are an agency’s opinion as to the applicability of a statutory provision, or of any rule or order of the agency, as it applies to the petitioner’s particular set of circumstances (s. 120.565, F.S.). The following page is a listing of declaratory statements:
To Request a Declaratory Statement (Requests do not have to be in writing)
If you are unable to obtain the information or documentation you need from the applications above, you may submit a licensure public records request by contacting the Department at 850-488-0595, completing the online form or submitting a request in writing (fees may apply). Public records requests are not required to be in writing. You do not have to give your name or explain why you are making a request.
