The Sexual Risk Avoidance Education (SRAE) grant aims to delay sexual activity, reduce teen births, and increase protective factors among Florida youth ages 10 to 19 years old. This is achieved through a community integrated approach using education, resources, partnerships, and activities facilitated by providers.
Funds for this grant are sourced from federal funding provided by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Family and Youth Services Bureau. A total of $1.5 million is available under this funding opportunity.
The number of awards will depend on the number and quality of the applications received. The amount of awarded grant funds will be determined by the Department at its sole discretion based on the availability of funds and the evaluation of the applications.
