The Florida Stroke Registry works to improve the quality of stroke care by transforming data into actions. The FSR collects stroke data to improve quality and identify trends to guide improvements in treatment and prevention. As of October 2025, 190 Florida hospitals are participating in the Florida Stroke Registry.

The registry is a collaboration between the Florida Department of Health, University of Miami, and the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association, per section 395.30381, Florida Statutes.
