To combat the opioid crisis, Florida’s Overdose Data to Action Program in States (OD2A-S) goal is to prevent opioid-related harms and overdose by working with providers and health systems to reduce unsafe exposure to opioids and treat addiction. By coordinating with public safety and community-based partners we can identify overdose threats, reverse overdoses, link people to effective treatment, and reduce harms associated with illicit opioids.
CORE Network
Florida’s Coordinated Opioid Recovery (CORE) Network aims to eliminate the stigma of addiction and treat substance use disorder as a disease with the same level of continuous care.

Florida Data and Statistics
Florida tracks, monitors, and reports on various data sources to ensure that the state has a full perspective of the impact of substance abuse and overdose statistics to drive public health policy and intervention measures.
